Top 5 Rookie Impacts for the 2020 NFL Season

After this years NFL Draft, many teams hope to have their next star of the franchise, but I’m here to discuss which rookies will be an immediate impact on the field Week One.

5. WR Jalen Reagor (Philadelphia Eagles)

The speed-burner receiver from TCU is an electric playmaker that is a threat in open space, and that has been a dire need for the Eagles since DeSean Jackson. Reagor will be an immediate playmaker for Carson Wentz and the offense, and he’ll be fun to watch in 2020.

4. DE Chase Young (Washington Football Team)

Young was the 2nd pick in the NFL Draft and is already looking like an absolute monster on the field in training camp. He’s fresh out of Ohio State and will infuse a lot of talent into a struggling Washington defense and will provide some momentum for their team going forward.

3. WR Jerry Jeudy (Denver Broncos)

Arguably the most talented WR in this years draft class, enters a loaded offense led by sophomore QB Drew Lock. Jeudy will be a fantastic Number 2 option behind Courtland Sutton, and he will be the extra firepower this offense needs.

2. RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire (Kansas City Chiefs)

The World champions get better offensively? Yeah, that’s a scary headline. Just one more toy for Patrick Mahomes to work with in 2020, and boy Helaire is an electric one. With Damien Williams opting out of the 2020 season, the rookie will see even more time as the RB1.

1. *LB Isaiah Simmons (Arizona Cardinals)

I didn’t even know if I should call him edge rusher, linebacker, corner or safety, but whatever he plays, his presence is felt. Listed officially as a MLB, he is already one of the fastest if not the fastest linebacker in the game. The Cardinals need another playmaker to match the talents of DE Chandler Jones, and they hit an absolute home run when drafting Simmons in the first round.
